Purchase Information: When you purchase a license, we collect your name, email address, and billing information through Stripe (our payment processor). This information is used solely for license delivery, payment processing, and customer support.
Support Communications: If you contact our support team, we retain your email correspondence to provide assistance and improve our service.

2. How Your Files Are Processed

All file conversions occur entirely on your local device using client-side processing:

Files are processed in your computer's memory
No files are uploaded to any server
No internet connection is required for conversions
Converted files are saved directly to your chosen location
No temporary copies are stored on external systems

3. Data Storage and Retention

The Convertico application stores minimal data on your device:

Application preferences and settings
License key information (stored locally)
No file history or conversion logs

Purchase Records:

We retain purchase records for:

License verification and support
Legal and tax compliance (7 years in Canada)
Processing refunds or license transfers
