Is Convertico compliant with Canadian healthcare privacy laws?

Yes. All file processing happens locally on your device with no cloud uploads. Complies with PIPEDA (federal), PHIPA (Ontario), PHIA (Manitoba), HIA (Alberta), and all provincial health information protection acts. Healthcare organizations maintain full control of patient data.

How does licensing work?

One-time payment allows installation on specified computers. Small Team (5 users) $299, Business (20 users) $699, Enterprise (unlimited) $1,499. No recurring fees.

What file formats are supported?

PDF, Word (DOC/DOCX), Excel (XLS/XLSX/CSV), images (JPG/PNG/WebP/GIF), and text files (TXT/RTF/Markdown). More formats coming soon.

Does it work offline?

Yes, 100% offline after installation. No internet required for conversions. Perfect for air-gapped environments and secure facilities.

Are there monthly fees?

No. One-time payment only. Updates included for first year (lifetime for Enterprise). Optional $99/year renewal after that.

Can we deploy across our organization?

Yes. The installer works with SCCM, Intune, Group Policy, or manual installation. Enterprise licenses include deployment support.

Currently Windows-only. Mac and Linux versions coming Q2 2025 at no extra cost for existing customers.
